You're a native speaker of English so you know when something sounds right and when it sounds wrong. But how to you deliver this as a lesson students will understand? Surely there are better ways than simple trial and error?
If you're reading this, chances are that your plans to come to Thailand and begin an exciting adventure through your new career teaching English in Thailand have been put on hold.
At this time of year, we would usually have a training centre full of enthusiastic new arrivals, studying on the course, making new friends, having great fun on the field trips to local schools and getting ready to start their new jobs teaching English in schools all around the country.
However, at the current time, it is still proving very difficult for many people to reach Thailand due to the temporary border controls that have been implemented by the Thai government.
But that doesn't mean that you can't make a start!
Hosted by our amazing training team, live from Bangkok!

Ask away! We're limiting these webinars to just 9 participants each week so there will be plenty of opportunity for you to ask a question and get an answer.
We have always said that online TEFL courses are generally ineffective and we stand by this belief even during these strange times when online courses are really the only type of courses possible. Teaching is a highly nuanced activity, full of subliminal and nonverbal communication and while we can discuss theory and technique over digital mediums, there is no substitute for in-class tuition and field trips. There's a reason that Thai employers prefer teachers qualified with the Chichester TEFL certificate over all others: they want a teacher that can walk into a classroom and start teaching from day one without any additional support or training.
But that doesn't mean that we can't use this time to get to know one another and to start having discussions about teaching in Thailand. That's why we have created these webinars and are inviting both those considering signing up for a 2021-22 course to sign up and join in!
