Training Centre Facilities

Everybody knows that a school or college is only as good as its teachers and tutors. However, the available resources and facilities also play a key part in learning.

Our Training Centre here in Bangkok strikes up a perfect balance between the nature and beauty of Thailand and the benefit of modern technology. Not only does this give course participants a relaxed and beneficial environment to study in, but it also provides the perfect isolation from the tourist-centered aspect of the city; although it is just a stones-throw away for those who crave it.

Quiet Study Zone	CyberZone
Outside of classroom sessions, you'll have plenty of time to explore the city and surrounding areas, but you'll also need to set aside some time to complete written assignments, prepare lesson plans and do research. Your own living accommodation may be suitable, but there are times when a desk in the air-conditioned, internet-connected Quiet Study Zone may be just what you need.	Whether you need to check some facts, download some materials for a practice-lesson, need some information for an assignment, or just want to check your email and keep in touch with friends and family back home, the CyberZone contains state-of-the-art computer terminals allowing you to access the internet at blazingly fast speeds. You can even create and store documents under your own private username.

Recreation

Taking a teacher training course isn't all about study. During your free time, you'll want to relax. This might mean sitting in the park in front of the Training Centre while drinking a cup of iced tea, or it might be taking advantage of some of the recreational facilities that the complex has to offer:

Muscle and Mussel - currently closed for renovation!
A favourite with students! A wide range of imported exercise equipment is at the disposal of customers. When you've had enough, unwind over a meal -- or a drink -- in the adjoining pub!

Swimming Pool
There is nothing like a dip in the pool at the end of a long day of study or teaching practice! For that matter, it even makes a great start to the day before your class begins!

Chill-out Zone
The 2nd floor of the complex is host to a number of restaurants, a juice bar, coffee shops and even a place to print your photographs! If you've finished studying for the day, but aren't ready to leave, this is the perfect place to sit and relax either by yourself or with your classmates!

WiFi Internet
Throughout the complex, you can enjoy free WiFi Internet access with a compatible laptop/notebook computer.

As with most services in Thailand, you will find all of the above recreational facilities extremely reasonably priced, to fit even the tightest of budgets.

Getting Around

The Training Centre is just 4 minutes, on foot, from the MRT -- the underground/subway train system -- which offers rapid, comfortable and affordable transportation most parts of the city, and also links with the BTS SkyTrain system. Bangkok has come a long way in recent years and it is now possible to enjoy your stay in the city without having to use busses or taxis!
