Guest House, Hotel or Apartment?
While you are busy with the four-week TESOL course, we suggest you stay as close to the centre as possible to minimise your travel time and avoid the possibility of missing important activities because of unexpected traffic snarls. Although the training centre is conveniently located on the Bangkok metro system, adding long travel hours to your already busy schedule will create unwelcome demands.
We have the following recommendations for accommodation around the training centre. If, however, your heart is set on establishing yourself in an apartment, an excellent website to start looking for one is MrRoomFinder.com. Remember though, apartments generally require a minimum of a 6-12 month contract and it is a good idea to avoid booking an apartment (ie: paying a deposit) without having first seen the room and comparing it to a handful of other options.

The Discovery Lodge Guest House is only 5 minutes on foot from the Training Centre, which makes it a popular place for course participants to stay. The Lodge provides basic amenities: a small living area, a separate bedroom with a double bed and a private bathroom. Rooms are sparsely but adequately furnished and have private entrances. The most popular option for most people on the course, Diamond Ratchada apartments are about 5 minutes on foot from the Training Centre. Diamond provides modern amenities and well-appointed single rooms. Rooms are air-conditioned, and have hot water. Internet is available. There is a gym, facilities for laundry and a restaurant on the premises. Diamond apartments are close to a vibrant shopping area and the underground station.

Literally on the doorstep of the Training Centre, just a 3 minute walk away! This is a beautiful boutique hotel with large, well-appointed suites. Pietra has two restaurants and a fully equipped gym, spa and sauna. Internet access is included and a full business centre is available to guests.Terms & Conditions
1) The 'Special 4 week rate' is only available for those booking at least 30 days in advance and are already enrolled on the Full Time course. Cancellation is not permitted.
2) '4 weeks' is exactly 28 nights. Guests may check in up to 7 days in advance of their course start date, but the rate will change to the "Standard Rate" from the 29th night onwards and is subject to availability.
3) In the case that a pre-booked hotel room suddenly becomes unavailable, you will be notified and issued a full and immediate refund or, depending on your preference, offered alternative accommodation.
* The rate for Discovery Lodge does not include electricity or water. Electricity is charged at 6 Baht/unit. If you use the air conditioning a lot, you may have a bill of around 1,500-3,500 Baht per month for electricity. Water is charged at a flat rate of 150 Baht/month
** The rate for Diamond Ratchada does not include electricity or water. Electricity is charged at 7 Baht/unit. If you use the air conditioning a lot, you may have a bill of around 1,500-3,500 Baht per month for electricity. Water is charged at 17 Baht/unit and average usage will result in a bill of about 150-300 Baht/month.
