Guest House, Hotel or Apartment? This is the question on the lips of most people who are planning their trip to Thailand. Especially those who are planning to stay and work for the long term. An apartment sounds like an attractive option, not only because they have a more 'permanent' feeling than a guest house/hotel, but also because they work out to be cheaper in the long term. However, an apartment isn't always a good option to begin with. Most apartment buildings require a 3 month deposit, and a 3-6 month contract. Bangkok is a big place and, right now, you probably don't know exactly which offer of employment you'll be accepting (there will be, after all, so many job offers once you've finished the course!). It is also not a good idea to book an apartment (ie: pay a deposit) without having first seen the room and compared it to a handful of other options. Terms & Conditions 1) The 'Special 4 week rate' is only available for those booking at least 30 days in advance and are already enrolled on the Full Time course. Cancellation with at least 30 days notice before check-in is permitted with a 10% cancellation fee. Cancellation with less than 30 days notice before check-in is not usually permitted. 2) In the case that a pre-booked hotel room suddenly becomes unavailable, you will be notified and issued a full and immediate refund or, depending on your preference, offered alternative accommodation. * The rate for The Guest House does not include electricity, which is charged at the standard Thai government rate of 6 Baht/unit.
