For teachers wishing to upgrade their qualifications, or individuals who want to take the course at a slower pace, Chichester College offers a flexible Part-Time TESOL course in TEFL/TESL which allows for attendance over a maximum of 6 months.

In addition to the classroom sessions, participants complete a teaching portfolio based on their own teaching experience and must complete a certain amount of self-study.

Individuals taking part must be currently teaching or willing to teach on a voluntary basis according to their own schedule.

The Distance Learning Diploma in TESOL is a distance study programme which offers further study in the field of teaching English to speakers of other languages.

The qualification provides a framework for teachers aspiring to positions in senior teaching, training or management.

All participants on the Diploma must have completed a recognised TESOL course at least one year prior to admission and proof of teaching experience for at least one full year is required.
